Delete your Halora account
For Halora, the ring light app for Android and iPhone, developed by Lennox Kornmann and published on Google Play under the developer name Werraweb. Deutsche Fassung
You do not need an account to use Halora. An account only exists if you chose to sign in: with Sign in with Google in the Android App, or with Sign in with Apple on iPhone. If you only used the App as a guest, we hold no account data about you and there is nothing to delete.
Delete in the App
Android
- Open Halora and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Go to the Account section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm with Delete permanently.
Your phone needs an internet connection for this. The account is deleted immediately, and the App then signs you out. If the deletion fails, the App shows an error message and you stay signed in until you try again.
iPhone
Open Halora, then Settings, go to the Account section and tap Delete account. Here too, the account is deleted immediately.
Request deletion by email
If the App is no longer installed, or deleting in the App does not work, email halorasupport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete account".
- Please write from the email address you signed in with (for Sign in with Google, that is your Google address), or include it in your message, so we can find your account.
- If we cannot be sure that the request comes from you, we ask you once to confirm before deleting.
- We answer within 30 days, delete your account within that period and confirm the deletion by email.
What is deleted
- Your account at Supabase, our sign-in provider with servers in the EU: name, email address and user ID.
- The link to your Google or Apple account, meaning the account ID that Google or Apple passed on when you signed in, and with Google also the link to your profile picture.
- All sign-in sessions, including the IP addresses, technical identifiers of the App (user agent) and times stored with them.
- When you delete in the App, also the sign-in session stored on your device.
What is kept
- Your Halora Pro purchase or subscription. It belongs to your Google Play account (Android) or your Apple ID (iPhone), not to your Halora account. In the App you can get it back at any time after the deletion via Settings → Halora Pro → Restore purchases.
- A running Halora Pro subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. Apple keeps billing it until you cancel it in the settings of your Apple ID (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Order and payment records at Google Play or Apple. Google keeps your order, receipt and payment details in your Google account under Google's own rules (https://policies.google.com/privacy), and Apple does the same for your Apple ID (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). We have no access to them and cannot delete them.
- Purchase data at RevenueCat, our purchase validation provider: a purchase ID and purchase events (purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund), without your name or email address. In the Android App this ID is randomly generated and not linked to your account. It is kept as long as it is needed for Halora Pro and for tax record-keeping obligations (up to 10 years for purchase records under German law). If you want it deleted or reset sooner, say so in your email and include the order number from Google's purchase receipt (it starts with "GPA."); we then delete whatever is not subject to a retention obligation.
- Photos, videos and settings on your device. They were never with us. You delete photos and videos in the "Halora" album yourself; the App's other data is removed when you uninstall it.
- The connection in your Google or Apple account. You can manage which apps are connected to your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/connections, and for Apple in your Apple ID settings under Sign in with Apple.
- Supabase's technical server logs, for example about individual requests to the server, disappear on their own after a short time, in line with Supabase's retention practice.
- Your email to us is kept only as long as we need it to handle the request and as a record of the deletion.
Time frames at a glance
- Deletion in the App: immediately.
- Deletion by email: answer and deletion within 30 days.
- Purchase records subject to retention: until the legal period ends, up to 10 years under German law.
